For each party it must be calculated with the formula - total number of seats * secondary votes of each party / secondary votes of all parties = value for a party. Then, each party initially gets as many seats as the number before the decimal point indicates. If there are more seats to be awarded then those, they will be allocated according to the level of decimal places. Party A = 2.18 / Party B = 3.64 / Party C = 14.18. Party A first gets 2 seats, B 3 seats and C 14 seats. One seat remains. Party B receives the remaining seat, as it have the highest decimal value with 64 . Also it receives a total of 4 seats.
